Chengyuan Huang(黄成园)

I joined Cheng group in 2017 spring and really enjoyed doing anything challenging and interesting. I'm interested in the study of quantum transport in correlated oxide interface. Now I'm focusing on setting up mk SPM.  I come from a small fishing village in Fujian coastal area. During my free time, I like rowing dragon boats, playing table tennis, playing soccer, playing Chinese chess and swimming.

Fan Bu(卜帆)

I’m Fan Bu, a senior student from the School of Gifted Young. For this moment, I major in condensed matter physics. The research area of mine is Topological Material and Superlattice. The research of Oxide nanoscale which is carrying on in professor Cheng’s Lab really attracts me. Besides, I’m also interested in Machine Learning, Political Philosophy and all kinds of Music. Quite unprofessionally, though. However, since I could get great pleasure from them, there's no need for entanglement.

I am Yuxiang Pei, an undergraduate student in USTC. I major in condensed matter physics. My current project in Cheng Lab is  tuning fork based Atomic Force Microscopy.

Mengqi Huang(黄孟奇)

I’m a junior majored in physics in USTC. I was attracted by the nanometer material’s interesting properties so I decided to learn more about condensed matter physics in Cheng’s laboratory. Besides, I am a fan of FC Barcelona. Whenever they attend important matches, I always watch these games and cheer up for them. I also like to read books about Chinese history or other countries’ history, which will help my work in the future.

Tianyi Wang(汪添翼)

I'm a junior student from School of Physical Sciences. The various physical properties of the LAO/STO really attract me a lot. I hope to learn more about it and its possible  applications in Cheng’s laboratory. My current job mainly focuses on the Strain Effects on LAO/STO. Besides, I chose Computer Science as my double major. I hope the skills that I learn from the double major will one day help me do better in physics study as well as experiments.

Zhenlan Chen(陈振岚)

I was born in Henan China and came to USTC in 2016. I am in the school of the gifted young and also a member of the Yan Jici Talent Program in Physics. I major in condensed matter physics and joined Cheng lab as an undergraduate student in May 2018. My research interests are spintronics, strong correlations in complex oxide materials and magnetism and superconductivity in low dimensional materials.

I am an undergraduate student in Prof. Cheng’s lab. I am originally from Chongqing, which is a beautiful city across the whole country. I am now interested in Low Dimensional Physics and Quantum Computing. During my free time, I’d like to play computer games and table tennis.

Xiaoxian Liu(刘笑先)

I’m Xiaoxian Liu from Harbin,a second-grade undergraduate student from the School of Physical Sciences, USTC. I have been being attracted by the beauty and harmony of science, so I chose Physics as my major. Desiring for more advanced knowledge about oxide materials and quantum, I joined Cheng Lab. I like the atmosphere here so much and I’m doing my best to improve myself. In my leisure time, I love playing badminton. As an outgoing boy, I’m trying to make more friends.

I am a junior from School of Physical Sciences. I joined ChengLab in Autumn 2018.

I’m mainly working on the spin interaction between NV Center and Quantum Dots on LAO/STO interface covered with monolayer graphene. I hope I can finish​ this job successfully before graduation.

I'm also studying for a double major in business administration. Besides, I'm a player in school basketball team.

My name is Hao Guan, a junior student in the School of Physical Sciences. I major in condensed matter physics. The research of superconduction really attracts me and I believe our efforts will one day help people live better. I’m a freshman from the School of Physical Sciences in USTC. I joined Cheng Lab in Autumn 2018. I’m currently working on the scanner stage which is functional in low temperature environment. In the future, I expect to learn more about condensed matter physics and develop some basic experimental skills so that I may fully participate in the lab’s research. My hometown is Xiamen, which is a beautiful city along the coast of China. During leisure time, I enjoy playing soccer and watching movies.

I’m Zichao Chen, a sophomore student from the School of Physical Sciences. I come from Shandong province and I can say that I am a typical Shandong man: enthusiastic, direct and good at drinking.
